Silent Protest In Chandigarh | India Unites For Animals

It’s time to be the voice for the voiceless!

Inhuman, cruel and disgraceful activities against animals have become common and happening every day. The crimes against animals are heinous and unforgivable.

What have these poor souls ever done to deserve so much torture?

No!! Not anymore!! We will not tolerate this at all!!!

Where is humanity?

It is high time. We all need to come together and be the voice of these voiceless creatures and protect their rights. Animals have equal rights as humans and should be able to live freely. They should be treated with love and care.

Lets stand together united for a single cause i.e., animal rights and fight against animal abuse.

Animals should be treated with compassion!

People from all across the tricity came forward on Sunday evening to act as the voice of the voiceless animals. The silent protest event was held to bring in harsher punishment for animal cruelty in the country.

Members of IUFA kick started their campaign against animal cruelty from Sukhna Lake by organizing a peaceful march.

The aim of the IUFA is to review the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (PCA), which currently releases an offender by imposing a fine of Rs 50. They want heavy penalties and imprisonment of up to 5 years for the offenders.
