A year ago, Savannah Bruce started a dog grooming business in her garage. Recently, she has expanded her business in an actual building named LaGrange.
Bruce started grooming business right after 2012 when she graduated from high school and began to work with PetSmart in Newnan but stopped to work soon for family. Shortly after, she came back to LaGrange to work with ‘Furry Friends’. Later in 2020, she started to pick up her clients at home.
Grooming by Sav offers grooming services for all types of dogs. Bruce and her staff consist mostly of family members, who work hard to understand the dog’s specific needs and how extensive the training needs to be.
According to Bruce, she wants to continue with what she is doing and outreach in the community. Bruce also keeps in touch with other groomers in the area who may work with the clients. When Grooming by Sav is booked, Bruce asks other groomers if they can take the clients or vice-versa.
Bruce runs Grooming by Sav with her mother, sisters, and husband. Her 2-year-old retriever, Opie, doubles as her daughter’s therapy dog, and Bruce plans to train her newest golden retriever puppy, 8-week-old Indie, as a service dog too.
