Among the stray dogs who have a home at Bombay House which is the global headquarter of the Tata Group – there is only one who can lay claim to being Ratan Tata’s favorite. Goa, a white and black dog, is the pack’s leader at the Bombay House and a special friend of Mr. Tata’s, whose fondness for a dog is not hidden. So it seems Goa obeys its hooman, who is Ratan Tata.
According to Karishma Mehta, the founder of ‘Humans of Bombay’ reveals in a LinkedIn post that when she met Rata Tata, he was in his office with Goa tucked in the chair next to him. Being mortally afraid of dogs, Karishma was surprised at the dog’s behavior when Tata obeyed him.
Karishma told Ratan Tata’s assistant Shantanu that she was terrified of dogs, but somehow Ratan Tata overheard this conversation.
Karishma Mehta, in her post, wrote about the dog’s behavior and said, “I kid you not, for the entire 30-40 minutes I was there, Goa didn’t come anywhere near me! I was baffled- it had never happened before!”
According to the Karishma, Goa spends all day at the office as Mr. Tata carries on with his meetings.
