Maharashtra has been hit by deadly floods after heavy rainfall. July 27, has claimed around 207 lives in the landslides and other incidents. It is all when a member of NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) climbed up on the rooftop to rescue a dog. The video was found heartwarming by citizens and went viral on social media.
In the video, the NDRF team can be seen standing on a lifeboat in front of a submerged hotel while one of the members climbs the roof to rescue the stuck dog. The person on the roof tries to lift the dog while the three people who are standing on the lifeboat are trying to help it.
The dog seems to be scared watching the sheer and depth of the water below. It also resists their attempts to bring it down. The team realizes to do something and win the dog’s trust and bring it down. They start to pet the dog, and soon they successfully rescued it and saved its life.
Netizens seem to be happy about the rescue operation. The video itself proves an endearing bond between dogs and humans.
