Izzy, the police dog, is getting additional ear scratches and back taps for her “incredible work.”
The Connecticut State Police got a call about a missing 10-year-old young girl in Woodbury on Sunday. Troopers reacted to the call alongside Izzy and her controller.
After showing up at the missing young girl’s home, Izzy was given an object of hers so the police dog could get on the youngster’s scent, Greenwich Time detailed. In the wake of getting the fragrance, Izzy drove her overseer on a 1.63 track through the lush region close to the young lady’s home, which finished in the pair tracking down the missing child.
Izzy found the girl almost a natural community. On account of the dog’s fast work, specialists tracked down the young lady safe and securely returned her to her family
“On 12/12/21 at approximately 1408 hours, TFC Matthew and K9 Izzy were dispatched to the area of White Deer Rocks Rd in the Town of Woodbury for a report of a missing 10-year-old female. After a 1.63 mile track, K9 Izzy successfully located the female youth in the area of the Whittemore Sanctuary in Woodbury. Great work to Izzy and her handler!” the Connecticut State Police’s Troop L Litchfield posted on Facebook after the rescue.
