A man from Pune has been charged with threatening, assaulting, and stalking a 28-year-old lady IT employee for feeding a stray dog.
According to the Police, the complainant and the accused guy are neighbors. Despite the fact that the issue has been going on for three months, a FIR was only filed on Monday.
Some puppies have lately been born to a female dog, and the woman taking care of the dog and the puppies feed them. The woman has been feeding the mother dog at a certain location.
However, the accused claimed that the dog frequently pooped outside his house and began pestering the woman and other feeders.
A CCTV camera also recorded the accused with a spiked weapon rushing behind the dog.
The accused man, who works for a biopharmaceutical firm, has been charged with crimes under Indian Penal Code sections 354 (outraging a lady’s modesty), 354 (d) (stalking), 509 (intending to insult the modesty of any woman), 504 (intentional insults), and 506 (criminal intimidation) (IPC).
