It all happened when the family was watching a dog show named ‘Adopt-a-Pet’ on the news in Milwaukee. They recognized their lost pooch in the segment.
Animal shelter Wisconsin Humane Society put out a post titled ‘Heartwarming story alert’ sharing how the family reunited with their dog named ‘Payday’ after they watched the segment on the news in Milwaukee. They also shared the meeting of the dog and family along with the post.
The Wisconsin Human Society in their post stated, ‘Last week, we were shocked and thrilled when FOX6 News Milwaukee reached out to us after one of our regular Adopt-A-Pet segments. They told us that one of their viewers, Dwight, called in because he recognized the dog we had featured.”
As per the post, the viewer watched the morning broadcast and was intrigued when a volunteer shared the details about a little brown dog with ‘the most adorable underbite.’ After seeing the dog, Dwight recognized it was Payday, who has been missing for two years.
Dwight immediately connected with the news channel and was finally able to meet Payday at the WHS Milwaukee Campus the same day.
