Another fatal animal cruelty incident in Hyderabad, 3 stray dogs shot dead by unidentified culprits on Monday evening. This happened at Alluri Sitaramaraju Nagar in Gudimalkapur.

The locals alerted the Tappachabutra police about the incident and later, police found three stray dogs bleeding with gun shot wounds in the colony.
Tappachabutra inspector B. Ravindar said, “We discovered that someone shot the dogs on an eight-acre farm house adjoining the colony. The farm house belongs to a realtor called Akbar Nijamuddin.”
When police questioned the workers of the farm house about the incident, they pretended to ignore and no one came forward to provide details about the unidentified culprits.
“The workers are not saying anything. We are expecting the owner of the farm house to turn up by tomorrow to explain what had happened there,” added the inspector.
About the investigation
Investigators have not yet identified what kind of weapon was used or if the farm house owner or someone close to him was involved in the incident. Police are still investigating the incident after registering a case against the unidentified culprits under Section 429 (Mischief by killing or maiming any animal of the value of Rs 50) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
