According to officials, a 9-month-old border collie puppy tumbled 40 feet down a rocky cliff in California and amazingly survived.
According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection unit in Santa Cruz, the event occurred last week on Ocean Blvd. near Moss Beach, some 23 miles south of San Francisco. The pup was hoisted to safety using a pulley system.
After the terrifying incident, the fire department advised dog owners to “always keep your pets on a leash near the cliffs.” Following the rescue, numerous pet owners expressed their gratitude to the local rescue teams, with others sending applauding and praying hand emojis.
