Man Gets Speeding Ticket, But Driver Was a Pooch

Getting a speeding ticket isn’t a funny thing. However, a man in Germany was left amused when he got one, and a dog was held responsible for breaking the traffic rules.

We know you wouldn’t believe it, but it is true. The man received a letter from the authorities to pay a fine, and the picture shows that it was not a human but a cute pooch behind the wheel.

The letter received in the post stated a fine of €50 was imposed as his car was captured by the traffic camera going faster than the speed limit.

However, instead of showing the car owner in the picture, it captured a small, white dog staring right at the road ahead. In the actual case, what had happened was that even though the dog was caught on camera, it was only because the pet decided to hop on its owner’s lap at that moment. The owner forgot to put on the special car belt for safety that day.

The driver’s nephew shared the hilarious snap on Twitter, leaving social media in splits.
