Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will soon set up “India’s first pet park for dogs at Radisson Hotel Gachibowli in Hyderabad. The Mayor Bonthu Rammohan has announced this on Saturday at the PETEX India 2017. The dog park is being set up at an investment of Rs. 2 crores.

Dr. Subhash Babu, founding president of Hyderabad Canine Club said that the park will provide a space for the pets to chill and play, which is difficult to get in a city like Hyderabad.
Objective
The objective of this park is to help communities become more pet-friendly. However, the final details needed to be worked out. The park will include various exercise equipment as well as facilities for dogs and their owners.
Mayor says,
Once the park comes up, it will be one of its kind in the country. He said that the tenders have been finalized and development work of the park will begin soon.
