Jinx, a dog food brand with no artificial ingredients, recently celebrated the United States’ first pets in a novel way. The Lincoln Memorial’s life-size statues of legendary presidential canines were unveiled through Instagram.
“There’s a lot of fetch, cookies, and belly rubs behind every great Commander-in-Chief.” That’s why we’re putting politics aside this Presidents Day to celebrate… The caption stated, “THE PUPS OF THE UNITED STATES (Sic).”

The puppies that have been honored are Bo Obama, Pushinka Kennedy, and Fido Lincoln, according to the post.
Abraham Lincoln’s dog, Fido, is the oldest of the three, having lived from 1851 to 1865.
According to legend, throughout Lincoln’s presidency, he stayed in Springfield, Illinois, and did not come to Washington because he was scared of sounds, people, traffic, a new schedule, and so on. Fido was a mongrel dog with a yellow coat.
Pushinka Kennedy, John F Kennedy’s sister, comes up next. Nikita Khrushchev, the Soviet Premier, gave him the dog. Pushinka was reported to be the offspring of Strelka, Russia’s first dog to be flown into space in 1960.
Bo Obama, Barack Obama’s dog, has also been honored. He was a gift to his daughters Malia and Sasha after he won the first presidency, and he lived from 2008 and 2021.
