FIR Filed After Four Dogs Poisoned in Vikhroli

The Vikhroli Parksite police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against unidentified individuals for allegedly poisoning four dogs at the Sun City complex on Saturday night.

Theresa George (35), a caregiver for the animals, expressed shock and sorrow over the deaths. “Three dogs passed away on the spot, while the fourth succumbed later in the night.

Their post-mortem examinations are underway at an animal hospital in Parel,” she told TOI.

Theresa recounted ongoing tensions with specific individuals in her residential community regarding her care for the local cats and dogs.

She claimed that security personnel were instructed to mistreat stray dogs, a matter she had previously reported.

Upon learning of the poisoning incident, animal rights activists Mitesh Jain and Seema Sharma contacted the local authorities.

Surendra Gowda, an RTI activist aiding Theresa in her legal battles, noted previous instances of harassment she had faced, including physical assault in 2016 and verbal abuse more recently, prompting additional FIRs.
