After being attacked in a Scarborough neighborhood, a man and a woman were treated for dog bites.
Just after 1 p.m., police were dispatched to Neilson Avenue and Kingston Road in response to complaints of a loose dog attacking people.
According to neighbors in the area, a couple in their twenties was assaulted by their own dog and took refuge in a trailer until the police came.
The dog was ultimately held in the back seat of a police car until animal control arrived to remove it.
According to paramedics, a lady and a male were treated for minor injuries. As a precaution, they were both transported to the hospital.
