We know you love your dogs, but can you imagine a scarf made of their fur? Well, it happened recently when a dog owner named Michelle paid £185 to get a scarf made from the fur of her dogs to have it as a keepsake when her dogs will not be with her.
Michelle Parker collected 198 grams of Keisha’s hair and 425 gram of Luka’s for the scarf she says will be meaningful when her pets won’t be around with her. While Keisha’s coat was used to make decorative pom-poms, Luka’s fur was used to make the five-foot scarf.
Michelle got the work done by Essex-based knitting and spinning expert Andrea Devine who specializes in making keepsakes for pet owners from their dog’s fur.
