Miami, Florida: A Florida veterinarian was sentenced to more than 21 years for sexually assaulting pets, uploading bestiality films on the internet, and collecting child pornography.
According to court records, Prentiss K. Madden, who ran his practice in Aventura, was sentenced to more than 21 years of Prison on Friday by U.S. District Judge Jose Martinez in Miami.
The prosecutors claim that Madden, 40 years old, made many films of himself having sex with dogs and posted them online. Madden pled guilty in July to counts of child pornography, animal crush, and torture charges, including bestiality.
His lawyers argued for a lenient sentence, citing Madden’s allegations that he experienced mental issues as a youngster as his parents and a family friend abused him.
Madden will be on probation for 25 years after his release and will be registered with Florida as a sex offender.
