Citizens have criticized Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for making reasonable efforts to curb the stray dog issue. But, surprisingly, the threat is increasing near the ancient Charminar, where people are afraid to stroll on walkways owing to a canine threat.
Tourists and residents in the Charminar neighborhood are both scared by a large number of dogs present.
For the past few days, it has been reported that a pack of at least a dozen dogs has been prowling near Charminar and its surroundings, terrifying people. In addition, the dogs are shown pursuing children and endangering them.
“Mohammed Ahmed, a social activist, stated, “Earlier this week, a complaint was made with the GHMC veterinary department on the issue, but nothing has been done.” He added that the people in charge stated that the dogs had been sterilized and that they couldn’t do anything further.
