Tamil Nadu: The dog is known to be a man’s best friend. Many people love to keep dogs as pets for their loyalty to their masters. They tend to share an endearing bond with their pets. Celebrating the pets’ birthdays is quite common today.
But a family from Tamil Nadu in India recently organized a baby shower ceremony for their pregnant dog. The video of the ceremony is now making rounds around the internet and has left many people surprised to see the love of family for their dog.
In the video shared recently on social media, it can be seen that the members of the family are performing the rituals of the baby shower with all the traditional fervor. You can also see the dog garlanded with flowers according to the custom.
Like it happens to pregnant women in the Hindu tradition, the family members also organized a puja for the dog. They dressed it in new clothing.
You can also see the women members of the family making the dog wear glass bangles. Fruits and sweets were also offered for the puja. Also, five different types of rice were prepared for the occasion.
