Pet Dog Refuses To Leave Injured Owner’s Side

It’s truly said that if you want a friend, buy a dog. And if you want a best friend, rescue a dog.

Tony, a rescued dog proved the same when he was recently seen hugging his injured owner in photograph that went viral on the internet.

29-year-old Jesus Heuche, Tony’s owner from Bahia Blanca, Argentina took a bad fall while he was pruning a tree and got severely injured. Heuche was waiting for the help to arrive but Tony did not leave his side and kept on hugging his injured owner until the help arrived.

“I woke up because I had my son, the dog, on top of me,” said Mr Heuche.

The pictures of the duo was shared by civil defense authority of Bahia Blanca on their official page and have received various shares and likes making the picture go viral.

Heuche also added that Tony did not even allow civil defense and paramedics to come near him as he thought they wanted to harm him.

“The love that gives a pet that is rescued from the public road is often greater and rewarding. This show of unconditional love is seen through things like this, “he concluded.

Tony was adopted by Heuche and his wife who live with their 9-year-old son four years back when he was found on the streets.

“I give him all my love and he gives me everything to me”, said Heuche.
