It’s sad to hear such merciless things happening around us. Recently in New Delhi, a dog died after being beaten mercilessly by two men in the Rohtas Nagar area of Shahdara district. Police have registered a case against unidentified men.
A video of the incident went viral on social media where you can see two men attacking the street dogs with sticks. According to police, they received a complaint from a person who runs a food stall in Shahdara.
According to his statement, on Wednesday he saw a video on his mobile about two men hitting a dog with a stick. He wasn’t aware of who these people were while the incident took place in the Rohtas Nagar area.
Police said they have identified the two people, and both of them are elderly. Police said, “We have not questioned them so far. Further investigation is going on,” the officer said.
When asked whether the dog died, the deputy commissioner of police said the animal succumbed to its injuries after getting thrashed.
