Found in three varieties – toy, standard, and miniature. Toy dogs can get up to 14 inches in height, the miniature dogs 18 inches, and the standard 23 inches. Standards are the heaviest and go up to 55 pounds.

They have rectangular bodies that are muscular. Their foreheads are wrinkled, which is a distinctive feature as well. They are alert and loyal and have such great options as guard dogs. However, they are calm enough to be lovely companions for humans.

2.     American Hairless terriers 

These dogs have descended from the rat terriers. They were bred so that they could catch rodents. If they have the opportunity, they would love to do it. Nowadays, they function as companion dogs.
