Sports Illustrated model Olivia Culpo has reportedly criticized JetBlue Airways for banning her dog from her flight. She was distraught with her flying experience with Jet JetBlue Airways and openly slammed the airlines on Friday.
Here is what she said in an Instagram story:
“I’m sure I’m not the only one who has had a crying escapade at the airport, but it’s just the worst experience ever. And I just want to be able to go home.”
The 29-year-old model was traveling home to visit her parents, who have been suffering from COVID-19. However, she was in good spirits when she made her way to the airport and kept updating selfies with her dog, Oliver.
“Hard to believe, but we’re headed back to the airport today,” Culpo wrote in her post.
Soon, she shared a selfie post with tearful eyes.
“When both your parents have COVID, and you’re trying to get home to help them, but suddenly your dog who was already pre-approved is not allowed to fly with you,” Culpo wrote.
She mentioned that she always liked JetBlue and has flown with her dog many times before as well. However, this time her dog wasn’t allowed.
According to sources, in a statement to a news channel, JetBlue mentioned that they have the right to stop customers whose dogs do not meet service-animal requirements.
