Here is a timeline of what happened since the protests on Sunday:

A group of protesters met Chandigarh SSP at around 12:30 p.m. at his office. The real footage of the incident was shown to him and he assured that swift action will be taken in this matter. He also assured that the car in which Tibby (who’s recently given the name HEAVEN by Animal lovers and NGO’s) was relocated will also be impounded and the fourth accused will also be arrested.
He also mentioned that the policeman involved in this matter will face action. He said that from now onward the curriculum of police training will also have animal cruelty guidelines, rules and regulations so that police officials can be more aware and tackle such complaints ethically.

The fourth accused Brijesh Kaushal was arrested on Tuesday. The white Alto car in which Tibby was taken has also been impounded by the police. The case will go to court and heard at sector – 43 district court. The protest to get justice for Tibby continued at sector – 48, outside Kendra Vihar Society.

In the meanwhile, the search continues for Tibby, now named HEAVEN by dog lovers and NGO’s. People gathered at Zirakpur-Patiala road today at 5.00 a.m. to search for him.
We applaud PACFA (Protection And Care For Animals) and PFA (People For Animals) and Chandigarh citizens for taking initiative and coming forward to get justice for Tibby and many other stray dogs in the city.
We will update this post with new information as soon we learn something about Tibby. Keep checking this post!
