Violence On Camera: Seven People Booked for Beating a Stray Dog in Mohali

A case of shame to humanity has come to light in Punjab. Where some unknown people mercilessly attacked and injured a stray dog. After this, the Nayagaon Police of Mohali district registered a case against seven people for beating and injuring a stray animal. The police started investigating the matter, although no one has been arrested in this case yet.

A woman named Mandeep Kaur, the complainant of the case, told the Mohali police that she used to feed a stray dog ​​daily near her house. She further said that on December 27, she had also gone to feed the stray dog, where she found me injured. After which, she went to him for treatment in a hurry.

Doctors told the woman after the investigation that due to the brutal beating of the dog, there were many severe injuries in her body. He also told the woman that the bone of the dog’s leg was broken and serious injuries were in the eyes.

After receiving the complaint of this incident, Nayangaon police registered a case against seven people and started an investigation. The police have registered a case against the accused under section 11 (1) (A) of the Animal Cruelty Act. At present, the police are interrogating the people around the spot as well as identifying the accused based on CCTV footage and trying to arrest them.
