In recent news, police have booked 13 people for allegedly torturing and killing a pet dog after stealing it from its owner’s house.
The Police officer, Rajesh Kumar Sharma from Jagdishpura Police Station said that they are investigating the matter and gathering evidence against the culprits booked in the case.
Police stated that the dog named Twinkle was allegedly picked from outside its owner’s house on Sunday by some people.
A complaint was lodged by the dog owner to the PFA in New Delhi after the pet dog was found dead.
An FIR was filed under Section 429 of IPC against 13 people. Three people have been identified so far and the investigation is on the way. The police assure that appropriate action will be taken against the perpetrators.
