John Abraham Adopts A Stray Dog

Recently, Bollywood actor John Abraham adopted a stray dog. John is known to be an avid animal right supporter who has backed various animal welfare programmes. He always wanted a pet, but things never panned out due to his hectic schedule. However, when he saw this 3-month old stray female pup, rescued by an animal adoption agency, he couldn’t stop himself. He adopted this cute pup and named her Bailey.

Now, whenever he finds time in between his busy schedule, he tries to spend time with Bailey and play with her, He is thrilled to take care of this 3-month old pup. John Abraham’s mother is an ardent dog lover too and she feeds about 100 dogs around her house daily.

He believes that there should be stricter laws to stop cruelty against animals.

“Though I am not in a position to speak about this and I’m not completely aware about the laws, but I think we need stricter laws for animals. There is no other way. We need to have laws in place that could actually control and bring people to book and stop them from harming any living being.” he said
