In a recent IPL match between Pune and Delhi at Visakhapatnam, a dog scurried on to the field and surprised the players. While the dog kept running free on the field, the spectators kept cheering the friendly dog.
The dog gave some of the fielders and ground staff a run for its money while they tried to chase him off the ground. One of the Delhi Daredevils fielder, Rishabh Pant tried to shoo away the dog after it settled down beside him five balls into the second inning.
The friendly dog was having too much fun
The dog kept wagging its tail all the time and was enjoying its time in the limelight far too much to be ushered off the pitch. The match was paused for few moments as the free roaming canine was causing too much distraction to the players of ‘Rising Pune Supergiants.’
Delhi’s South African import, Chris Morris tried to distract the dog off the field but it didn’t paid off. Australia’s pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile even tried to wave a blue towel in front of the dog to lure it off the field but failed.
After taking its sweet time, the friendly dog parted the field on its own.
