Dog Visited Sick Elderly Owner at The Hospital Got Viral in China

A loving pet dog has trended on social media with a story of regular visits to its senior owner in the hospital.

The dog is from Chongqing in Sichuan Province, southwestern China, and visited a local hospital with a family member after its owner became ill.

In a video shared in a story, the dog is shown leaning against a hospital bed’s handrail and staring at its old owner before the dog snuggles its head against the owner’s body.

After a later visit, the owner felt better and was seen walking around. Seeing that the owner is getting better, the dog gets excited and starts jumping and wagging its tail, then pressing the owner’s head against her.

The dog’s age is not revealed in the story, but the elderly woman stated it has been with her since it was a puppy, and they are very close.
