First veterinary clinic in South Asia to offer Hemodialysis and Nephrology for animals.

Thousands of animals die each year due to kidney failure because they are unable to get the renal support that they need to survive. So, to provide a good quality of life to a huge number of animals suffering from kidney problems, Dr. Marcio Bernstein, a pioneer in nephrology and hemodialysis announced the opening of RENALVET India at New Delhi on May 1, 2017.

Dr. Marcio Bernstein is currently responsible for the training of the RENALVET teams in India for nephrology, hemodialysis and traditional Chinese medicine.

Nephrology is a veterinary medical specialty dedicated to the diagnosis and clinical treatment of diseases of the urinary system, mainly related to the kidney.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marcio Bernstein said, “Numerous animals die each year in the country because veterinarians are either less informed or still prefer to use the traditional methods of treating renal failure cases. This attitude towards animals pushed me to start the center in India.  Medicine is for the betterment for all and I have always looked at human medicine to provide advancements that are still unavailable in veterinary reality, and tried to take it to the animals.”
