In one heartwarming gesture, Andhra Pradesh Police helped rescue the puppies stranded in the flood water after the mother dog followed the cops to seek their help. The incident happened in the NTR district, which means experiencing floods due to the latest heavy rain.

Police officers from Vijayawada city police force who were busy rescuing people from isolated areas found the dog following them continuously and crying for help. The cops were curious to find out the reason. The distressed mother dog led them as the house got submerged.

The police officers found the puppies in the house. The police personnel immediately rescued the puppies. A video shared by AP Police on Twitter showed the police’s rescue effort. After the rescue, we see the police officers washing the puppies with clean water and leaving them with their mother.

The video shows the dog happily thanking the police officers in its way.

K.V. Rajendranath Reddy, Director General of Police, appreciated the Vijayawada city police for their humanity for animals.
