Abandoned Dog Waits In Cage Near The Road, Hoping Someone Will See it

A sweet dog named Natalie was cast off in a cage by its previous owner on the side of a busy road in Florida. Natalie was wandering in that tiny cage, hoping someone would see and offer help. But unfortunately, hours went by unnoticed, and Natalie began feeling tired and hungry.

After some time, a passerby saw it and sensed something wrong. They immediately requested the Humane Society of Tampa Bay Animal Hospital to rescue Natalie and help this little pup. 

Humane Society of Tampa Bay marketing and content manager Regan Blessinger informed, “We acted quickly after receiving the call and were on rescue mission within a few minutes.”

When rescuers got close to the cage, what they saw was heart-wrenching. Natalie was sitting in the corner like a sad baby and was a bit nervous, avoiding their touch. But the moment they freed it from the cramped metal box, its mood changed drastically.

Blessinger said, “The dog’s tail wagged, which showed how happy it was out of the cage.”

After reaching the hospital, Natalie was examined to check if it had any injury and given a bath and lots of yummy dog food. Before moving to the shelter, the office staff showered hugs and kisses to Natalie.

 Blessinger said, “Despite this horrifying incident, Natalie was happy after being cared for. Everyone liked this little puppy; its adorable innocent acts warmed people’s hearts with love. 

A month after this incident, Natalie was adopted by a lovely family and found their forever home. The affectionate dog was now part of a loving family.
