A Study Says Portland Is The Best Place To Own A Dog In The U.S

Portland may have recently lost to Tampa for the most delightful city in the country, but today the city is finally besting the Salem of central Florida.

According to U.S. News and World Report, Portland is the best place to own a dog in the whole country. Tampa is on number two.

U.S. News and World Report said that Portland ranked number one in access to dog parks, number 4 in the least number of 90-degree or above days, and number two in “amount of veterinarians employed.” Interesting metric — one might want “most veterinarians” — but a win’s a win.
