6-Year-Old Girl Attacked by Dogs in UK, 17 Dogs Seized

The Greater Manchester Police have seized 17 dogs after a six-year-old girl was attacked by a dog.

The child is in stable condition after the attack on Sunday in Ackers Lane, in the Carrington suburb.

The police had arrested three individuals, who were later released on bail. The police stated four dogs were seized quickly after the attack, and four more dogs and nine puppies were taken away.

The police also found a van in south Manchester during the investigation, which is also being examined.
Detective Inspector Matthew Dixon stated it was a “fluid investigation” and appealed to the public for information.

The Greater Manchester Police have also directed themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) after the incident.

Another scary incident occurred in January in the UK, where a woman nearly lost her arm due to an attack by a dog.

Rachel Anderson, 43, was having a friend’s children in 2018 when their pet husky bit her face and savaged her arm in an attack for 45 minutes.

The woman suffered gaping injuries and had multiple surgeries to revive her arm.
