On March 4, the defendants tied up a street dog in Banashankari’s Ambedkarnagar and bashed it for no apparent cause. They then allegedly sprayed it with acid and gasoline. They threatened a 50-year-old woman with the same fate when she questioned them.
After receiving assistance from a social activist, the woman filed a police report in this respect. The injured five-year-old male canine has been taken to an animal rescue centre for treatment. Bunny is the name given to the dog by the centre.
