Police Officer Saves Dog from Drowning in Lake Michigan

A video of a police officer rescuing a dog after it accidentally fell into a lake is doing the rounds of social media. The 15-second clip was posted on Twitter by The Feel Good Page and has gone viral with almost one lakh views so far.

What Does the Viral Video Show?

The dog fell into Lake Michigan and struggled for its life as seen in the viral video. Officer Juan Farris noticed the dog and immediately rushed to the spot. He pulled the dog up from the lake and thus, saved it from drowning.

“Saving the dog,” is the caption of the post.

Needless to mention, the video has gone viral on social media and collected over 3,000 likes and several retweets.

“What an incredible man that police officer is. Wow,” a user said in the comments section. Another comment reads, “God bless this man!”

Speaking to the Chicago Tribune about the incident, Juan Farris said, “The dog kept trying to get water out of the lake and fell into the lake. I heard the splash. Once I heard, I turned over, I saw him swimming, just went over there and grabbed him.”
