Meteorologist’s Dog Interrupts The Weather Report At Global News Toronto

Toronto, Canada: Viewers watching Global News Toronto on Friday got the weekend weather forecast that Saturday will be dry throughout the day, wet in the evening, and simply adorable and fluffy all day.

This is due to the fact that meteorologist Anthony Farnell was not the only one standing in front of the green screen to deliver the prediction. Storm, the weather hound, was right there at his side.

Storm, a tiny goldendoodle, can be seen dashing in and out of the camera in a now-viral film Global News published on YouTube, pausing from time to time to munch a treat near the weather map.

Farnell could be heard saying off screen, “Yes, Storm is in the building, getting some treats, walking on thin air.”

Despite Storm’s unusual conduct, viewers seemed unconcerned and even applauded the dog.

“What a good boy. He doesn’t really interrupt him, just watches his owner and checks out the scene,” one person wrote.

“What a cutie. And so well mannered! My dog would be whining and huffing and puffing for more treats,” another reacted.

“It is the dog days of August afterall,” someone else pointed out.
