Kolkata Traffic Policeman shelters dogs from heavy rains

Everyone wants shelter when it rains, including the animals. An image shared by Kolkata Police clearly shows an adorable sight. The image showed a couple of stray dogs under an umbrella held open by the traffic police official during the heavy rainfall in the city. While the policeman focuses on managing traffic, the dogs quietly gave him the company and kept a watch on vehicles that passed by.

The incident occurred at a busy crossing in Kolkata. The Kolkata Police shared the image with a caption, “Moment of the Day!”, and identified the policeman as Constable Tarun Kumar Mandal of East Traffic Guard.

The image shows the policeman raising hands to signal, possibly to a vehicle as the dogs sat near him, looking around from the center of the crossing.
