Recently, we came across some amusing pet laws across the world and we had to share them with all you guys. Some of these pet laws are downright  weird and absolutely funny. Check out our list of funny pet laws that we have compiled for you. 

1. Turin, Italy

If you don’t walk  your pets at least three times a day, you will be fined up to 500 euros ($650)   under a new law from the city’s council.

2. Saudi Arabia

Walking a dog in public is illegal in Saudi Arabia. Dogs are almost completely banned, with the exception of working dogs.

3.  China

China implemented one dog policy in 2006. According to which residents of Beijing, China were restricted to one dog per family. The law also prohibits families from raising large (over 14 in or 35.5 cm tall) or ferocious dogs.

People in Germany have to pay a pet tax every month. Small dogs are becoming increasingly popular due to a loophole in Germany tax laws, which allows any dog under 10 pounds to be taxed at the same rate as a rodent – one third the rate.

5. Switzerland

You have to pass a test and take a practical training class in order to have a dog. If you are a first-time dog owner, you have to take a theoretical class apart from a practical training class.

7. Oklahoma, US


Anyone caught making “ugly faces” at a dog is subject to fines or even jail time.
