Back to work and suffering from Monday blues? Fret not, Shamita Shetty’s latest Instagram entry is here to cheer you up. The actress shared the perfect “Monday motivation” post which featured a woman beginning her morning with a yoga session. What’s so special about this, you ask? Well, it was her workout partner that won the Internet over. The video shows an adorable pooch carefully observing and mimicking the postures. The dog even has its own yoga mat and pulls off all the exercises like a professional. Shamita’s social media followers fell in love with the video and left heart emojis in the comment space.
Fitness is clearly one of the things on Shamita’s mind during the ongoing lockdown. Her posts on Instagram over the last few weeks are proof of the same. Earlier this month, the actress shared a video where she can be seen exercising at home. Shamita captioned the post, “Mobility exercises that work on flexibility and strength too.”
Last month, she spoke about the ‘animal walk’ routine which is a great way to stay fit and encourage positive thoughts. Shamita wrote, “Thanks to the lockdown most of us are home, working, stressed etc…Take out some time to do whatever is needed to increase your Happy Hormones! The animal walk is a great conditioning workout for your entire body…A great way to stay fit without a gym! A regular workout reduces the levels of stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline and increases the production of endorphins that are natural painkillers and mood elevators!” Responding to the clip, Shamita’s sister, actress Shilpa Shetty wrote, “You are my Monday motivation.” Actor Aamir Ali, too, left clap emoticons in the comments section.
Shamita’s love for fitness is also mirrored by her sister. Shilpa is a yoga enthusiast and one of the fittest celebrities in Bollywood.
