Did You Know That Our New President Ram Nath Kovind Loves Dogs?

A lot of things are being written every day about our newly elected President of India – Mr. Ram Nath Kovind. But very few people know that he and his family really loves dogs.

Ram Nath Kovind & His Family Love Dogs

He was appointed as the Governor of Bihar for the period of 2015 – 2017. He and his family used to reside in New Delhi and take care of stray dog in their locality. They adopted 6 stray dogs and he named them Lily, Kaalu, Kishmish, Katti, etc.

These 6 dogs are being nurtured by his family now. They feed them nearly 2 L of milk, chappatis and chicken. His family go out of its way to treat some of the injured street dogs in the area and provide care for them.

According to one of the house maids in the neighborhood, one of the dogs named Kaalu suffered injuries and Kovind’s son took him to the nearest hospital for treatment immediately.

Neighbors say that Ram Nath Kovind and his family show so much love towards these dogs that it can be easily seen the way these dogs watch and guard the area around their house.

Isn’t it amazing to learn that our new President is also an ardent dog lover?
