Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola’s co-founder, and CEO, has always been known for his affection for dogs. He never misses an opportunity to share adorable pictures and videos of his furry companions, captivating the hearts of his followers. Recently, Bhavish has taken his love for dogs to a new level at Ola Electric, a branch of Ola focused on electric mobility.
Ola Electric’s Bengaluru office welcomed a charming new employee, a dog named ‘Bijlee.’ In a delightful post on Twitter, now rebranded as X, Bhavish Aggarwal introduced Bijlee to the world, complete with her official Ola Electric ID card.
With a touch of humor, the ID card listed amusing details about Bijlee. It humorously mentioned her employee code as ‘440 V’ and her blood group as ‘PAW +ve.’ The ID card also playfully revealed that she prefers using Slack, a messaging platform, to communicate with humans. Additionally, her emergency contact was listed as “BA’s office,” which likely stands for Bhavish Aggarwal himself. The post cheerfully exclaimed, “New colleague now officially!”

As soon as the post went live, Bijlee received an overwhelming response from users on X (formerly known as Twitter). The post quickly garnered over 142,000 likes, and users flooded the comment section with joy and excitement over Bijlee’s addition to Ola Electric’s workforce. One user even compared Bijlee’s name to Bolt from the movie.
This isn’t the first time Bhavish has shared his love for dogs at the workplace. A few months ago, he delighted his followers by sharing a picture of three dogs peacefully sleeping and relaxing on sofas inside the Ola office. The caption read, “Mornings at the office.”
With Bhavish Aggarwal’s affinity for dogs evident and the warm welcome received by Bijlee at Ola Electric, it’s clear that Ola’s workplace is truly paw-friendly, fostering an environment of love and companionship alongside their dedication to innovation and mobility solutions.
