Chandigarh Municipal Corporation in collaboration with Maharashtra-Udgir’s SPCA is running the ABC- Animal Birth Control operation in Chandigarh. Under this program dogs are caught from the streets and are neutered(Sterilized). But the post operative care for dogs is missing. These dogs are often left with open surgical wounds and found with infected surgical areas. Sooner or later, these dogs die due to infection and lack of care. They deserve more and shouldn’t be treated like this.
Its now or never!
A peaceful protest has been organized by the concerned citizens of Chandigarh against this program in sector 38 west on 9th January(Saturday), 11 a.m.
Ask yourself what would you do if the dog you feed daily never returns?
