On Tuesday, shocking news has come out from Mumbai. In which one woman died of a heart attack. She was beaten up by her neighbors. The reason for the assault? The continuous barking of the victim’s dog.
According to reports, 4 women who are from Mumbai’s Dombivli. They beat up 35 years old Nagamma Shetty because they were annoyed by the constant barking of her dog.
Shetty is a widow, she lives with her daughter in a chawl in Manpada. 4 women in her locality picked up a fight with her over the stray dog she used to take care of. On Tuesday, the 4 women allegedly assaulted Shetty and hit her on her chest.
After the incident, Shetty went to the local police station to file a case. And Police asked her to go to the hospital for a check-up but she didn’t go and went home.
Speaking to media, DCP Vivek Pansare said, “The victim had a scuffle with the accused for which she lodged a police complaint. She was then asked to go to the hospital but she went to her home instead. Later she had chest pain, went to the hospital and died there. Postmortem report states she died of a heart attack.”
As of now, the police have filed a case of accidental death in the matter and further police are investigating this case.
