Gaurav Taneja, the YouTuber and pilot better known as Flying Beast, is facing a wave of criticism after a former employee of his farmhouse went public with allegations that Mau, Taneja’s pet Labrador, died from neglect.
Mau reportedly died in July 2026. The allegations only surfaced this week, when Pushpendra Choudhary, who claims to have worked at Rosier Farm, a Delhi farmhouse co-owned by Taneja, began posting a series of videos and Instagram stories detailing what he says he witnessed before leaving his job.
Neither Gaurav Taneja nor Rosier Farm has responded to the allegations publicly at the time of writing. No veterinary records have been made available to establish the cause of Mau’s death.
Who Was Mau, and Why Was He at a Farm
If you have followed Flying Beast’s channel for any length of time, you would know Mau. The Labrador was a familiar face in the family’s vlogs for years. Then he slowly disappeared from the content.
Taneja addressed it in a video titled “Where is Mau?” in which he said he had chosen a new path in life that did not allow him to keep a dog around at home. He cited his father’s religious objections to having a dog in the house and said Mau had been moved to the farmhouse, where he would have more space. He said he was personally okay with people sharing their home with pets, but that it had become a problem for his family.
That explanation divided his audience at the time. Now it is the backdrop against which the current allegations are being read.
What Pushpendra Choudhary Is Claiming
Choudhary’s allegations cover several areas: diet, living conditions, injuries, and medical care.
On food, he claims Mau was not given proper dog food for months and was instead being fed roti, milk, and cow feed. He alleged that food utensils were not cleaned properly and that the dog was allowed to roam near cows and lick their faeces.
On injuries, Choudhary says Mau suffered wounds after being kept alongside two Cane Corso dogs named Tiger and Shera. He alleged that Mau was not taken to a vet despite sustaining injuries from these encounters.
On living conditions, he claimed Mau was not allowed inside the bedroom and had to sleep without air conditioning during Delhi’s summer heat, which this year was particularly severe.
On medical care, Choudhary alleged that when Mau’s condition worsened and he stopped eating, he was taken to a hospital in Meerut, where staff recommended transferring him to a hospital in Delhi. According to Choudhary, the farm staff were told to manage as best they could but were not given the money or means to facilitate the transfer.
Choudhary also noted that he himself was no longer employed at the farm by the time Mau died. He said he learnt about the full extent of Mau’s condition after leaving his job, which is why he chose to speak up now rather than earlier. He also acknowledged in one video that, as an employee, he had not personally raised the issue directly with Gaurav Taneja.

What Social Media Has Made of It
The response has been sharp. Animal welfare advocates and Reddit users have called for the incident to be reported to the relevant authorities. One Reddit comment referenced in coverage read simply: “The more I read on this, the more my blood boils.”
The hashtag “Justice for Mau” has circulated across platforms, with many users noting that this was not the first time questions had been raised about how the dogs at Rosier Farm were treated.
Choudhary has asked Taneja to make Mau’s veterinary records public. That request has not been addressed.
What Remains Unknown
The allegations are, at this point, one person’s account. Choudhary left his job at the farm approximately a week before Mau died, which limits the scope of what he directly witnessed in the dog’s final days. No other former employees have corroborated his claims on record, and no independent investigation has been carried out.
What is established: Mau was moved from the family home to a farm. He died in July 2026. His owner has not commented publicly. A former employee has made detailed allegations about conditions at that farm.
Whether this goes further, whether a complaint is filed, whether Taneja responds, or whether veterinary records are ever released, will determine how this story develops. For now, the conversation is happening loudly and without his participation.
