Recently, a 19- year old youth, identified as P Ramar, brutally killed his relative’s dog in Tamil Nadu after having a quarrel with the relative.
The Munneerpallam police said, “The youth had had assaulted the dog to death because the quarrel had enraged him.”
Police has arrested the accused based on a complaint filed by his relative, with whom he had a fight. The accused P Ramar is son of Periasamy from Gopalasamudram in Tirunelveli district.
Why P. Ramar killed the dog?
According to police, “There was a quarrel between Periasamy and his relative Vallikannu, a native of Balapatiraramapuram, on Monday night. As the heated verbal exchange became physical, Ramar came to his father’s rescue. Neighbors intervened and established peace between them. As Ramar began verbally abusing Vallikannu, his Indian dog began barking at Ramar. The enraged youth fetched a sickle from his house and attacked the dog brutally, killing the dog on the spot.”
Police has arrested the accused
The Munneerpallam police registered a case against the youth based on a complaint filed by Vallikannu. And also arrested the Ramar’s father Periasamy under various sections of the IPC. The body of the dog was carried away from the spot for a postmortem by a certified veterinarian.
