#1 CUPA Bangalore
CUPA is a non-profitable, non-government organization. It was established in 1991. It is the first-ever shelter in this region to accommodate suffering dogs and provide a safe living place. They have six centers around Bangalore city. They also got five independent shelters.
Every facility provides a critical aspect of animal welfare like a fully-equipped Pet Care Clinic, Animal Birth Control, Large Animal Rehabilitation, Adoption & Foster, Geriatric Care, Adoption & Foster. With colleges and corporations, they organize programs such as pet cruelty inspections, awareness sessions with schools, advocacy for animal rights, and so on.
The complaint related to illegal breeding and cruelty to the animal is recorded and dealt with in these centers. Their trauma center in Hebbal is devoted to complaints related to stray dogs in emergency medical need. They have two ambulances with an experienced and efficient team of veterinarians and handlers working 24 hrs.
To address the emergency requirement, they have an Animal Care Hospital at RT Nagar providing reliable treatment for pet owners. The clinic has an optional facility for housing and post-operative care in case the owner is unable to manage this situation at home.

#5 Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre – CARE
Care was established in 2013 to provide medical care for injured and ill street dogs and animals of Bangalore city. They consist of an ambulance service and a trauma care center. Their target is to provide private veterinary care to animals. They have shelter to provide a safe and peaceful environment for an animal paraplegic, blind, or suffers from chronic disease or old.
They also organize human education at their center on animal cruelty control and prevention, adaptation, and volunteering. They also allow individual rescuers who bring ill or helpless dogs for treatment at their shelter. After a thorough diagnosis of the disease, they take immediate action for treatment, such as surgery, amputation, and other required procedure.
A post-operative facility is also available to recuperate and recover. They also do physiotherapy and laser therapy. They also give protein supplement food to the dogs for faster recovery. They screen every family interested in adoption and follow up strict protocol to ensure a better life for the dogs.

Cartman is a non-profit organization working as an animal wellness center and park. They have a vet clinic and rescue shelter. You have to take the dogs to their center for treatment because they have no ambulance service available.

#8 ALAI – Emergency Rescue Service
ALAI Rescues was founded in 2017 as a rescue and rehabilitation center for abandoned, abused, and injured dogs. They have a shelter for approximately 125 dogs.
They also have two ambulances, seven caretakers, visiting vet, and 110 dogs housing capacity at any time. They rescue 70-90 dogs every month, and it’s continuously increasing. They organize vaccination drives.

#9 People for Animals (PFA Bangalore)
PFA Bangalore is a non-profit organization that came into existence in 1996. They organize rescue and rehabilitation. They organize awareness in many institutions, corporates, and society. They also run a pet cemetery and animal cemetery.
They provide rescue, rehabilitation, and adaptation. They also take reports and action against the cruel and illegal trade of pets against the complaint.

#10 VOSD – The Voice of Stray Dogs
VOSD is a privately-run rescue service with a treatment center and dog shelter for stray dogs, situated in Bengaluru. The rescue center has already rescued about 8000 dogs. Their shelter can accommodate about 800 dogs at the time.
They even provide telemedicine for dogs. They drive sterilization programming and adaptation. They have the first blood bank in India for animals.

KRUPA was established in 2000 and works for the rescue and adaptation of dogs. They have a hospital and shelter for helpless and ill dogs. They now have 120 animals, including dogs in their shelter. They provide permanent shelter to handicapped dog. They also provide adaptation.

#12 Let’s Live Together
It is a charitable trust established in 2009 for the homeless animals of Bangalore city. They provide almost 2000 homeless animals through adoptions, rescue, and rehabilitation. They also arrange field clinic and community arrangements.
